Garden sockets and outside lights built for the sea air

Outdoor Sockets & Lighting

An outdoor socket means no more extension leads through the window for the mower or the jet wash. Garden and path lights make the outside usable on summer evenings and safer in winter.

Salt air and wind off the sea are hard on outside fittings, so we use proper weatherproof sockets and lights and seal every joint. Each one is on safety switch protection, so you are safe in the wet.

Outdoor electrics questions, answered

How much does an outdoor socket cost?

Most outdoor sockets on the Island cost £150 to £300, fitted. Garden lights and long cable runs to a shed cost more. We give you one fixed price before we start.

Are outdoor sockets safe in the rain?

Yes, when they are weatherproof and on a safety switch. That is how we fit every one.

Why do my outside lights keep tripping the power?

Water getting into a fitting is the usual cause, especially near the sea. We find it, dry it out or replace it, and seal it properly.

Can you run power to my shed or garden room?

Yes. We run a safe supply out from the house, buried or clipped neatly.
