An electric shower or a cooker draws more power than anything else in the house. It needs the right size cable and its own circuit, or it can overheat. A like-for-like swap is often simple. A bigger shower or a new range cooker may need a new cable back to the fuse box.

How much does it cost to fit an electric shower?
A like-for-like shower swap on the Island usually costs £150 to £300, plus the shower. A bigger shower that needs a new cable from the fuse box is often £400 to £800. We check first and give you a fixed price.
Can I fit a more powerful shower?
Often yes, but it may need a bigger cable and a new circuit. We check your supply and tell you what is needed.
Can you connect a new cooker or hob?
Yes. We connect electric cookers, ovens and hobs on the right circuit and test them.
Do you fit the shower unit too?
We do the electrics and fit electric shower units. For new pipework you may need a plumber, and we can work with yours.
